Welcome to the Good | Bad | Irrelevant site!

The Good, The Bad and The Irrelevant conference took place in Helsinki, Finland on September 3-5 2003, in the Media Centre Lume of the University of Art and Design Helsinki.

The conference is now over, and on behalf of the organizers, I can say that we felt it was very successful. We want to thank all participants for making it so!

This site aims to be a forum and a resource for all those who are interested in the conference topics, supporting both the participants and those who were unable to join us in Helsinki.

Many features of the site still reflect the preparations for the conference and have not yet been updated to correspond to the situation after the conference. Please do not let that bother you, there is a lot of material available, and in time, we will make more of it visible for new members of the site. If you join the site, we can keep you up to date of new developments.

Through the site you can

• get information about the conference, such as of the themes, the program, or the organizers
• register for participation
• participate in discussion of conference topics

Important Dates

Please take into consideration the following dates:

• Deadline for abstract submission: 10th April 2003 (see Call for Papers )
• Notification of the acceptance of abstracts: 30th May 2003
• Authors’ delivery of paper deadline in order to be included in the printed programme: 15th July 2003
• Early Bird Registration until July 15th: 150 € (after July 15th: 180 €; on site: 200 €)
• Conference: 3-5th September 2003

Language

The official language of the Conference will be English.
